Our History: Intermarket traces its history back to 1986 when two marketing executives at a New York-based futures exchange came to believe there was a need for a specialized public relations and marketing consultancy with real-world experience in global financial markets. These two executives established a New York-based specialty boutique to fulfill that emerging market niche. Previously known as Trimedia, Inc., the firm's objective was to provide strategic communications counsel and tactical support to an array of firms whose business activities centered around the global financial markets. In January of 2003, Trimedia, Inc. became Intermarket Communications to better reflect its distinctive client base and industry focus.

      Our Clients: Beginning with a small group of clients involved primarily in the derivatives market, Intermarket expanded its client roster over the years to incorporate other, more traditional sectors within global capital markets. The company's client roster now encompasses the full spectrum within the global trading and investment community, including global market places and exchanges, leading buy-side and sell-side institutions, banks, alternative investment providers, technology and professional service providers, as well as government and industry organizations. Today Intermarket is a leading independent provider of financial public relations and marketing services to a wide range of international and U.S.-based financial services clients.

      Our Partners: In 1996, Intermarket joined eight other like-minded agency partners to establish GFC/Net (Global Financial Communications Network), a multinational network linking leading public relations consultancies that serve financial markets around the world. The network's aim is to offer clients access to the best communications skills in the world's primary financial centers including London, Tokyo, Amsterdam, Brussels, Frankfurt, Hong Kong, Madrid, Milan, Paris, Sydney and Zurich as well as New York.
